Business workspaces
Use scoped MCP access for Actions, submissions, notes and Board while distinguishing real business writes from draft changes.
Business access is separate from website editing. In Settings → Connections → Additional access, grant only the records and operations the client needs.
Read business workspace covers permitted Actions, submissions, notes, Board and conversation history, including submissions export. Edit business workspace adds the corresponding supported edits. Notes and Board access belong to the credential’s account; they are not public website data.
Distinguish draft and live effects

Do not assume that Edit business workspace creates a draft of every business change. Read the tool’s effect and reviewed input before applying it.
Test a real submission deliberately
Submit real form and Action records allows explicit form submissions and Action invocation. A test creates a real record; use clearly synthetic details and agree on cleanup. Action availability is a read, while creating or cancelling a booking or request changes its state.
Use the same request identity when retrying an identical submission. A timeout is not a reason to create another booking. Inspect the retained result first.
Email requires the separate Send email grant. Review recipients and delivery intent before allowing a notification or mail test. Granting record access alone does not grant arbitrary mail sending.
Keep reads small
Ask for a date range, record type or status rather than an unrestricted export. Follow pagination and retain the same filters while using a cursor. A changed filter needs a new listing request.

Read this week’s open form submissions. Summarize the requests and suggest Board cards. Do not create cards, change records or send email yet.
Know what is not transferred
Your external AI conversation stays in that client. Website history records applied changes and their external attribution; it does not import the conversation as a Studio chat.
A website snapshot is not a complete backup of business records, accounts or credentials. Restoring website files does not undo a sent email, a business record change or an Action definition edit. Plan those operations separately from website restoration.
