Board
Board is a kanban-style task tracker built into VoxelSite Studio. Use it to plan website changes, track progress, and keep your team aligned — without leaving the Studio.
Cards flow across columns (To Do → In Progress → Done), so you always know the status of every task. Link cards to website pages so you can jump straight from a task to the page it relates to.
Opening Board
Click Board in the top navigation bar (under the Studio group). The view opens as a three-column kanban layout.
Board works on all screen sizes. On mobile, the columns stack vertically into a scrollable view.
Columns
Board ships with three columns:

| Done | Completed tasks |
Each column shows a card count badge and a color-coded status dot.
Creating cards
Click the + Add Card button at the bottom of any column. A new card appears with the cursor in the title field. Type a title and optionally a description — your changes save automatically.
Editing cards
Click any card to expand it inline. The expanded view shows:
- Title — editable text field
- Description — multi-line text area with line break support
- Linked page — a dropdown to associate the card with a website page
- Column — move the card to a different column without dragging
Changes save automatically after a short pause. A brief "Saved" indicator appears in the toolbar.
Linking cards to pages
Cards can link to any page in your website. Use the page dropdown in the expanded card view to select a page. Once linked:
- The card shows the page name as a clickable link
- Clicking the link navigates to the Chat panel with that page selected as the scope — so you can immediately start editing it with the AI
Moving cards
Drag and drop — grab a card and drag it to any column. Drop zones highlight as you drag. Cards reorder within and across columns.
Column dropdown — in the expanded card view, change the column using the dropdown selector. The card moves instantly.
Archiving and deleting
From the card's context menu (three-dot button):
- Archive — removes the card from the board view. Archived cards can be restored later.
- Delete — permanently removes the card.
Permissions
Board is available to all roles — Owner, Editor, and Viewer.
- Owner and Editor can create, edit, move, archive, and delete cards
- Viewer can see all cards but cannot make changes (the board appears in view-only mode)
Demo mode
In demo mode, Board shows pre-populated sample cards across all three columns. The board is fully interactive — you can expand cards, drag them between columns, fill in forms, and explore the editing experience. Write actions (saving edits, creating cards, deleting, archiving, moving) show a simulated success toast but do not persist any data.
