Notes

Draft website copy in Notes, then send the content you choose to Chat. Notes belong to your Studio account and are separate from your published website.

The AI receives note content when you send the Chat prompt. Personal & private identifies notes for your account.

Opening notes

Click Notes in the top navigation. On desktop, the list appears beside the editor.

On mobile, the list and editor use separate views. Open a note to edit it, then use Back to notes to return.

Creating notes

Click the + button in the list header, or press Cmd+N (Ctrl+N on Windows). A new untitled note appears with the cursor ready in the body.

Editing

Enter a title and body. Changes save after a short pause. Check for Saved before leaving the view.

Markdown preview

Click the eye icon, or press Cmd+Shift+P, to preview Markdown. The preview supports headings, bold, italic, lists, links, code blocks, and blockquotes. Click the eye icon again to return to editing.

Pinning

Click the pin icon, or right-click a note and choose Pin or Unpin. Pinned notes appear first, ordered by their last edit. You can pin up to 5 notes.

Search

Type in the search field at the top of the list to filter notes. Title matches rank above body matches. Results highlight the matching terms. Clear the search field to return to the full list.

Sending notes to the AI

Two ways to use your notes as AI input:

• Send to Chat, or Cmd+Shift+C, opens Chat and fills the prompt with the note title and body. Review the prompt and send it when ready.
• Use as Prompt fills the Chat prompt with the note body. Review it and send when ready.

For the open note, both actions use the content in the editor, including edits still waiting to save.

Context menu

Right-click any note in the list for quick actions:

• Pin / Unpin - toggle the note's pinned status
• Send to Chat - fill the Chat prompt with the note title and body
• Use as Prompt - paste the note body into the prompt field
• Delete - remove the note and show an Undo action

Deleting and restoring

Click the trash icon or choose Delete from the context menu. To restore the note, click Undo in the notification within 8 seconds.

Notes has no trash view. After the Undo notification closes, Studio offers no restore control. Deleted notes become eligible for permanent cleanup after 30 seconds.

Resize

Drag the divider between the note list and editor to adjust the panel widths. Your preferred width is remembered across page navigations.

Permissions

Owners and editors can use Notes. Viewers have no Notes navigation item, and the API rejects their requests with HTTP 403.

Each account has its own notes. Other Studio accounts cannot read them through Notes. A scoped external connection reads only its bound account’s notes. Sending note content to built-in Chat shares it with your configured provider; external tools handle their own conversation and service.

Note saves are immediate business-record changes and use record versions to reject stale writes. Website publication and snapshot restoration do not save or restore Notes. See Business workspaces.

Demo mode

Demo mode shows 4 sample notes. Title and body fields are read-only; create, pin and delete controls are hidden. You can preview Markdown or copy note content into the Chat prompt.
